Job description

Surveillance: Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect and prevent unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches. Maintain vigilance and attentiveness to identify potential security threats or risks. Access Control: Control and regulate access to the premises by verifying the identity of individuals, checking credentials, and issuing visitor passes or badges. Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or trespassing. Patrols: Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to deter criminal activity, vandalism, or safety hazards. Maintain a visible presence and respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies. Crowd Control: Manage crowds, queues, or gatherings to maintain order and ensure the safety of individuals during events, concerts, or public gatherings. Monitor crowd behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent disturbances or altercations. Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or medical situations. Follow established protocols and procedures for emergency evacuation, first aid, or contacting emergency services (police, fire, medical) as needed. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other security personnel, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders. Use two-way radios, mobile phones, or communication devices to relay information, coordinate responses, and report incidents. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts, disputes, or disturbances using de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills. Remain calm, assertive, and diplomatic when dealing with difficult or agitated individuals. Report Writing: Document security incidents, observations, and activities in written reports or logbooks. Provide detailed and accurate information for incident reports, including descriptions of individuals, events, and actions taken. Safety Procedures: Enforce safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or hazards in the workplace. Conduct safety inspections, identify potential safety risks, and take corrective actions to mitigate hazards. Customer Service: Provide assistance, directions, and information to employees, visitors, or customers as needed. Offer a friendly and helpful demeanor while maintaining a focus on security and safety. Training and Awareness: Participate in security training programs, drills, and exercises to enhance knowledge, skills, and awareness of security protocols. Stay informed about security trends, threats, and best practices in the field. Collaboration: Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security professionals to address security concerns, share intelligence, and coordinate responses during critical incidents or emergencies.
