Job description

Surveillance and Monitoring: Use surveillance systems, CCTV cameras, and other monitoring tools to observe and monitor activities in designated areas. Identify and respond to suspicious behavior, security breaches, or safety hazards promptly. Access Control: Control access to restricted areas, facilities, or information by verifying credentials, issuing badges or access cards, and enforcing security protocols. Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access and maintain a secure perimeter. Patrol and Inspection: Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises, grounds, or facilities to detect and deter security threats, vandalism, or unauthorized activities. Check doors, windows, locks, and security systems to ensure they are secure and functioning properly. Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, incidents, or security breaches by following established protocols and procedures. Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks, protect people and property, and coordinate with emergency services as needed. Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts, disputes, or disturbances that arise within the security area. Use effective communication and conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and maintain order and safety. Risk Assessment: Assess security risks and vulnerabilities within the environment and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats. Conduct security surveys, audits, and assessments to identify weaknesses and implement appropriate security measures. Security Planning and Policy: Develop and implement security plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Communicate security policies and guidelines to employees, visitors, and stakeholders. Training and Education: Provide training and education to staff members on security awareness, emergency response procedures, and safety protocols. Conduct drills and exercises to practice response actions and enhance preparedness for security incidents. Investigation and Reporting: Investigate security incidents, accidents, or violations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. Document findings, compile incident reports, and maintain accurate records for reporting and analysis purposes. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and relevant stakeholders to address security challenges and coordinate response efforts. Share information and intelligence to enhance situational awareness and response effectiveness. Customer Service: Provide assistance, guidance, and support to employees, visitors, and customers regarding security-related matters. Offer directions, information, or assistance as needed to ensure a positive and safe experience for all. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve security operations, procedures, and technologies to adapt to evolving threats and risks.
