Job description

Surveillance: Monitoring premises, facilities, or designated areas using security cameras, CCTV systems, or physical patrols to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or security breaches. Access Control: Controlling and regulating access to restricted areas, buildings, or facilities by verifying credentials, issuing badges or access cards, and operating security checkpoints or gates. Security Screening: Conducting security screenings of individuals, vehicles, or belongings to prevent unauthorized items from entering or leaving secured areas. This may involve using metal detectors, X-ray machines, or other screening equipment. Emergency Response: Responding to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms promptly and effectively. Implementing emergency procedures, evacuating premises if necessary, and coordinating with emergency responders such as police or fire departments. Patrol and Inspection: Conducting routine patrols and inspections of premises to ensure security measures are in place and functioning properly. Checking doors, windows, fences, and other access points for signs of tampering or damage. Report Writing: Documenting security incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports or logbooks. Recording information such as the time, location, nature of the incident, and actions taken for documentation and investigation purposes. Risk Assessment: Identifying potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to the organization or facility. Conducting risk assessments, security surveys, and vulnerability analyses to develop mitigation strategies and security protocols. Security Policy Enforcement: Enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols established by the organization or facility. Ensuring compliance with security regulations, industry standards, and best practices to maintain a secure environment. Customer Service: Providing assistance, information, and directions to employees, visitors, or guests. Offering friendly and professional customer service while maintaining a vigilant and attentive demeanor. Training and Education: Participating in security training programs, drills, and exercises to enhance skills, knowledge, and preparedness. Training employees on security awareness, emergency procedures, and response protocols to improve overall security awareness and readiness.
