Job description

Surveillance and Monitoring: Using surveillance cameras, monitoring systems, and patrols to detect and deter unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches. Access Control: Controlling access to premises, facilities, or sensitive areas by verifying credentials, issuing badges or access cards, and enforcing security protocols and procedures. Security Screening: Conducting security screenings of individuals, vehicles, or belongings entering or exiting premises to prevent the unauthorized transport of prohibited items or materials. Emergency Response: Responding promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, including medical emergencies, fires, or security breaches, and coordinating with emergency services as needed. Crowd Control: Managing crowd movements, controlling access to events or venues, and ensuring public safety and order during gatherings, concerts, or demonstrations. Patrol and Inspection: Conducting regular patrols and inspections of premises, facilities, or perimeters to identify security vulnerabilities, enforce regulations, and deter criminal activity. Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts, disputes, or disturbances using de-escalation techniques, mediation, or appropriate use of force as necessary, while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Report Writing: Documenting security incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, logs, or incident documentation for record-keeping, investigation, and analysis purposes. Training and Education: Providing security training, awareness programs, and guidance to employees, tenants, or visitors on security policies, procedures, and best practices. Security Technology: Operating and maintaining security equipment and technology, such as alarms, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and metal detectors, to ensure proper functioning and effectiveness. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conducting risk assessments and security audits to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and developing strategies to mitigate or minimize their impact. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with security regulations, laws, and industry standards applicable to the organization's operations, including data protection, privacy, and physical security requirements.
