Job description

Access Control: Monitor access points to the automotive dealership, service center, or manufacturing facility to prevent unauthorized entry. Verify the identity of employees, visitors, and vendors and issue visitor badges or access passes as needed. Surveillance Monitoring: Utilize surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security systems to monitor the premises for suspicious activity, breaches of security, or safety hazards. Maintain vigilance and respond promptly to security alerts or incidents. Patrol and Inspection: Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking lots, and surrounding areas to deter criminal activity and identify potential security risks. Inspect doors, windows, fences, and gates for signs of damage or tampering and take corrective action as needed. Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, accidents, or security breaches. Coordinate with emergency services, such as police, fire, and medical personnel, and assist with evacuation procedures and crisis management efforts. Crowd Control: Manage crowd flow and maintain order during special events, vehicle launches, promotions, or sales events held at the dealership or showroom. Ensure that customers and visitors adhere to safety protocols and dealership policies while on the premises. Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent theft, fraud, and shrinkage of automotive inventory, parts, and equipment. Conduct routine inventory checks, perform random audits, and investigate discrepancies or inventory losses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Customer Assistance: Provide assistance and guidance to customers and employees regarding security procedures, parking regulations, and emergency protocols. Offer directions, escort services, or other assistance as needed to enhance customer satisfaction and safety. Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts or disputes between customers, employees, or vendors in a calm and professional manner. Use effective communication and conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and prevent violence or disruption. Training and Awareness: Conduct security awareness training sessions for dealership staff to educate them about security policies, procedures, and best practices. Provide guidance on identifying security threats, responding to emergencies, and reporting suspicious activity. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, safety inspections, and patrol activities using written logs or electronic reporting systems. Document relevant details, such as incident descriptions, witness statements, and actions taken, and report incidents to management and law enforcement as required. Security Policy Enforcement: Enforce dealership security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company standards. Address violations promptly and consistently and recommend improvements to security protocols as needed. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with dealership management, other security personnel, and external stakeholders to share information, coordinate security efforts, and address security concerns effectively.
