Job description

Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the resort premises, including public areas, accommodation facilities, and perimeter areas. Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and respond quickly to security incidents or emergencies. Access Control: Monitor access points, such as entrances, exits, and gates, to control the flow of people and vehicles entering and leaving the resort. Verify the identity of guests, staff, and visitors, and enforce access policies as needed. Surveillance: Utilize security cameras and surveillance systems to monitor activity across the resort. Keep watch for any suspicious behavior, potential security threats, or safety hazards, and take appropriate action to address them. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fires, natural disasters, or security breaches. Follow established protocols, coordinate with emergency services if necessary, and assist with evacuations or evacuee management. Crowd Control: Manage crowds during busy periods, events, or gatherings to ensure orderly behavior and prevent overcrowding or disturbances. Provide directions, assistance, and crowd management support as needed. Conflict Resolution: Intervene in conflicts or disputes between guests or staff members to prevent escalation and maintain a safe environment. Use conflict resolution techniques, verbal de-escalation skills, and assertive but professional communication. Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent theft, vandalism, or property damage within the resort. Conduct regular inspections of vulnerable areas, secure valuables, and enforce security policies related to guest belongings and personal property. First Aid and CPR: Possess knowledge of basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies. Administer first aid as needed and summon medical help if required. Training and Awareness: Stay informed about security procedures, protocols, and regulations relevant to the resort environment. Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and workshops to enhance security awareness and preparedness among staff members. Guest Assistance: Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and requests for assistance in a courteous and helpful manner. Serve as a point of contact for guest safety concerns or security-related inquiries. Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, observations, and activities in written reports. Document relevant information, including dates, times, locations, and descriptions of incidents or individuals involved. Collaboration with Authorities: Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and resort management to address security concerns and ensure a coordinated response to incidents or emergencies.
