Job description

Surveillance: Monitoring premises, including buildings, grounds, and other areas, using security cameras, patrols, or other surveillance methods to detect suspicious activity or unauthorized access. Access Control: Controlling entry and exit points to secure areas by checking identification, verifying credentials, and ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access. Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols of designated areas to deter criminal activity, enforce security policies, and respond to incidents or emergencies promptly. Emergency Response: Responding to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, such as fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches, and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property. Crowd Control: Maintaining order and managing crowds at events, venues, or public gatherings to prevent disruptions, conflicts, or safety hazards. Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts or disputes among individuals in a calm and professional manner, using effective communication and conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations and prevent violence or harm. Report Writing: Documenting incidents, observations, and security-related activities in detailed reports, logs, or incident forms to provide accurate records and information for future reference or legal purposes. Security Screening: Conducting security screenings of people, vehicles, or packages entering or leaving premises to detect prohibited items, weapons, or contraband and ensure compliance with security protocols. Risk Assessment: Identifying potential security risks, vulnerabilities, or threats through security assessments and inspections and recommending measures to mitigate risks and enhance security measures. Customer Service: Providing assistance, information, and support to visitors, employees, or clients in a courteous and professional manner, while also maintaining a vigilant approach to security responsibilities. Training and Education: Participating in training programs to stay current on security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant laws and regulations. Security personnel may also conduct training sessions for employees or community members on security awareness and crime prevention. Collaboration: Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security professionals to coordinate responses to incidents, share information, and ensure effective security measures are in place.
