Job description

Surveillance: Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems to detect and prevent security breaches or suspicious activities. Access Control: Control access to the premises by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and issuing visitor passes or badges as needed. Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry into restricted areas. Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Check doors, windows, and other access points for signs of tampering or security vulnerabilities. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms. Take appropriate action to address the situation, such as contacting law enforcement, medical personnel, or fire departments, and following established emergency protocols. Crowd Control: Manage crowds during busy periods or special events to maintain order and ensure the safety of guests and employees. Provide directions, assistance, and crowd management support as needed. Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts or disputes among customers, employees, or visitors in a calm and professional manner. Use de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts peacefully and prevent escalation. First Aid and CPR: Be trained and certified in first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies until professional medical help arrives. Report Writing: Document security incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed written reports. Maintain accurate records of security-related activities for future reference and analysis. Security Training: Participate in ongoing security training and professional development to stay updated on security procedures, techniques, and technologies. Provide training to other staff members on security protocols and best practices. Risk Assessment: Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the premises and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments and security audits regularly to ensure that security measures are effective and up to date. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as management, human resources, and facilities, to address security concerns, implement security protocols, and promote a culture of safety and security within the organization. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, or concerns in a friendly and helpful manner. Serve as a positive and approachable presence while maintaining security vigilance.
