Job description

Curriculum Development: Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities aligned with curriculum standards and educational objectives for teaching various branches of science, including biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science. Subject Instruction: Teach scientific concepts, principles, and theories using a variety of teaching strategies, demonstrations, experiments, and hands-on activities. Present scientific information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner to facilitate student understanding. Laboratory Skills: Provide opportunities for students to develop laboratory skills, such as observation, measurement, data collection, experimentation, and analysis. Supervise laboratory activities and experiments to ensure safety and compliance with laboratory protocols. Inquiry-Based Learning: Foster inquiry-based learning by encouraging students to ask questions, explore hypotheses, design experiments, and draw conclusions based on evidence. Guide students in conducting scientific investigations and inquiry projects. Critical Thinking: Promote critical thinking skills by challenging students to analyze scientific phenomena, evaluate evidence, and make reasoned judgments. Teach students to apply scientific reasoning and logic to solve problems and draw conclusions. Interdisciplinary Connections: Explore interdisciplinary connections between different branches of science and other academic disciplines, such as mathematics, technology, engineering, and the arts. Help students understand the interconnectedness of scientific knowledge and its relevance to everyday life. Environmental Awareness: Raise awareness of environmental issues and sustainability challenges by teaching students about ecosystems, biodiversity, natural resources, pollution, and climate change.
