Job description

Curriculum Development: Plan and develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives for teaching science subjects, such as biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. Content Delivery: Teach students fundamental concepts, principles, and theories in scientific disciplines through lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities. Present scientific information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner to facilitate understanding and retention. Laboratory Instruction: Conduct laboratory experiments and investigations to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in scientific inquiry, experimentation, and data analysis. Supervise students and ensure safety protocols are followed during lab activities. Critical Thinking Skills: Develop students' critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills by challenging them to apply scientific principles to real-world problems and scenarios. Encourage inquiry-based learning and experimentation to foster curiosity and creativity. Scientific Inquiry: Guide students in conducting research, collecting data, and drawing conclusions through scientific inquiry projects and investigations. Teach students to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings effectively. Technology Integration: Integrate technology tools and resources, such as computer simulations, interactive whiteboards, and educational software, into science instruction to enhance learning experiences and engage students in interactive and multimedia-rich activities. Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests. Adapt lesson plans, activities, and assessments to provide appropriate levels of challenge and support for individual students or groups. Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, such as quizzes, tests, lab reports, projects, and presentations. Provide constructive feedback to students to guide their learning and improvement. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and orderly learning environment in the classroom. Set clear expectations for behavior, participation, and academic performance, and enforce classroom rules and procedures consistently. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and achievement.
