Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and developing curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional activities that align with educational standards and objectives for science education. Subject Instruction: Teaching various branches of science, including biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science. Providing instruction on fundamental scientific concepts, theories, principles, and practices. Laboratory Instruction: Facilitating hands-on laboratory experiments and investigations to help students apply scientific principles, develop critical thinking skills, and reinforce learning through observation and experimentation. Demonstrations and Presentations: Conducting engaging demonstrations and presentations to illustrate scientific concepts, phenomena, and processes. Using multimedia resources, models, and visual aids to enhance student understanding. Critical Thinking: Promoting critical thinking skills by encouraging students to analyze data, interpret results, draw conclusions, and evaluate evidence in the context of scientific inquiry and experimentation. Problem-Solving Skills: Guiding students through problem-solving exercises and challenges that require the application of scientific knowledge, methods, and reasoning to address real-world problems and scenarios. Safety Procedures: Ensuring the safety of students during laboratory experiments and demonstrations by following established safety protocols, providing safety instructions, and supervising students' activities. Science Fair Projects: Mentoring students in science fair projects and research investigations. Providing guidance on project design, data collection, analysis, and presentation for science fairs and competitions. Assessment and Evaluation: Assessing students' understanding and mastery of scientific concepts and skills through various forms of assessment, such as quizzes, tests, lab reports, projects, and presentations. Integration of Technology: Integrating technology tools and resources into science instruction to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Using simulations, virtual labs, multimedia presentations, and online research tools to engage students and facilitate learning.
