Job description

Curriculum Development: Develop and plan lessons that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives for science education. Design engaging and hands-on activities to promote inquiry-based learning and scientific inquiry skills. Subject Instruction: Teach students a wide range of scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, environmental science, and astronomy. Provide instruction in key scientific concepts, theories, and methodologies. Laboratory Skills: Teach students laboratory skills and techniques for conducting scientific experiments and investigations. Provide hands-on opportunities for students to apply scientific methods, collect data, analyze results, and draw conclusions. Biology Instruction: Explore biological concepts such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, anatomy, and physiology. Conduct experiments, dissections, and field studies to enhance understanding of biological principles. Chemistry Instruction: Introduce students to chemical concepts such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, and the periodic table. Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate chemical phenomena and principles. Physics Instruction: Teach students about physical concepts such as motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, and thermodynamics. Use experiments, demonstrations, and simulations to explore the laws of physics and their applications. Earth and Environmental Science: Study the Earth's systems, including geology, meteorology, oceanography, and environmental science. Investigate topics such as climate change, ecosystems, natural disasters, and sustainability. Astronomy Instruction: Explore the universe, celestial bodies, and astronomical phenomena. Teach students about topics such as the solar system, galaxies, stars, planets, and the cosmos. Scientific Inquiry Skills: Develop students' skills in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis. Guide students through the scientific method, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and data interpretation. Technology Integration: Incorporate technology tools and resources into science instruction to enhance learning outcomes. Use computer simulations, data logging software, interactive models, and multimedia resources to engage students and illustrate scientific concepts.
