Job description

Curriculum Development: Develop and design curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources for teaching science. Align curriculum with educational standards and learning objectives to ensure comprehensive coverage of scientific concepts, principles, and skills. Concept Instruction: Teach students scientific concepts, theories, and principles through engaging and interactive lessons. Introduce new topics, conduct demonstrations, and facilitate hands-on experiments and investigations to promote inquiry-based learning and discovery. Laboratory Instruction: Provide laboratory instruction and hands-on learning experiences to help students develop scientific inquiry skills, experimental design, and data analysis techniques. Supervise laboratory activities, ensure safety protocols are followed, and provide guidance on proper lab techniques and procedures. Interdisciplinary Connections: Explore connections between science and other disciplines, such as mathematics, technology, engineering, and the arts. Integrate interdisciplinary concepts and applications into science instruction to demonstrate the relevance and interconnectedness of different fields of study. Problem Solving: Guide students in developing critical thinking skills and problem-solving strategies to analyze and solve scientific problems effectively. Present challenging problems, case studies, and real-world scenarios to encourage inquiry, experimentation, and hypothesis testing. Scientific Literacy: Promote scientific literacy by helping students develop an understanding of scientific principles, methods, and practices. Teach students to evaluate scientific information critically, distinguish between reliable and unreliable sources, and communicate scientific ideas effectively. Environmental Awareness: Educate students about environmental science, sustainability, and the impact of human activities on the environment.
