Job description

Curriculum development: Planning and designing engaging and interactive lesson plans, experiments, and activities that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives for science education. Classroom instruction: Delivering lessons that cover a wide range of scientific topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and earth science, using a variety of instructional methods such as lectures, demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and multimedia resources. Conceptual understanding: Helping students develop a solid foundation of scientific concepts, principles, and theories, and guiding them in applying these concepts to solve problems, make predictions, and analyze data. Laboratory work: Providing opportunities for students to conduct experiments and investigations in a laboratory setting, teaching them proper laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and scientific inquiry skills. Critical thinking and inquiry: Encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and explore scientific phenomena through inquiry-based learning, problem-solving activities, and open-ended investigations. Application of scientific knowledge: Connecting scientific concepts to real-world applications and current events, and demonstrating the relevance of science to everyday life, technology, and society. Integration of technology: Incorporating technology tools and resources into science instruction, such as interactive simulations, digital data analysis tools, and multimedia presentations, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Assessment and evaluation: Designing and administering assessments, quizzes, tests, and projects to measure students' understanding and mastery of scientific concepts, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning and growth. Differentiated instruction: Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, including providing additional support for struggling learners and enrichment opportunities for advanced students.
