Food Preparation: Gather ingredients such as bread, meats, cheeses, vegetables, spreads, and condiments needed to make sandwiches. Slice, chop, and prepare ingredients as required, ensuring freshness and quality. Sandwich Assembly: Follow customer orders or recipes to assemble sandwiches according to specifications, layering ingredients evenly and proportionally. Customize sandwiches based on customer preferences, dietary restrictions, or special requests. Grilling or Heating: Grill or heat sandwiches using sandwich presses, griddles, panini makers, or toasting ovens to enhance flavor and texture. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure sandwiches are cooked thoroughly and evenly. Presentation and Garnishing: Arrange prepared sandwiches on plates or trays and garnish with garnishes such as lettuce, tomato, pickle, or fresh herbs for visual appeal. Package sandwiches for takeout orders or serve them directly to customers with appropriate utensils and condiments. Maintaining Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize workstations, countertops, utensils, and equipment before, during, and after food preparation to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety. Follow proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and sanitary food service environment. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of sandwich ingredients and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
