Job description

Customer Engagement: Engaging with customers in person, over the phone, or through online channels to understand their needs, provide product information, answer questions, and offer assistance in making purchasing decisions. Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the products or services offered by the company, including features, benefits, pricing, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicating this information to customers. Sales Generation: Actively seeking out potential customers and opportunities for sales through prospecting, lead generation, networking, and relationship building, and using persuasive selling techniques to close deals and achieve sales targets. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service, addressing concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Order Processing: Processing sales orders, transactions, and payments accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, order management software, and payment processing tools, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Tracking and analyzing sales performance metrics, such as sales revenue, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and average order value, and providing regular reports and insights to management to inform decision-making and strategy development. Product Merchandising: Ensuring products are displayed, presented, and merchandised effectively in retail spaces, online platforms, or catalogs to attract customers' attention, highlight key features, and drive sales. Promotions and Marketing: Collaborating with marketing teams to execute sales promotions, campaigns, and initiatives to drive customer traffic, increase brand awareness, and stimulate sales growth, and providing feedback on marketing effectiveness and customer responses. Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to customers based on their needs, preferences, and purchase history, and maximizing sales revenue and customer value through strategic selling techniques. Continuous Learning: Staying updated with industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and product knowledge through training programs, industry publications, and networking events to enhance sales skills and performance.
