Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate new sales leads through research, networking, cold calling, and other prospecting methods. Utilize various channels, including online platforms, industry events, and referrals, to expand the resort's customer base. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and individual guests. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and negotiations. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the resort's amenities, accommodations, packages, and services. Articulate key selling points and unique features to effectively communicate value propositions to clients and address their needs and preferences. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of booking with the resort. Customize proposals to align with client requirements and showcase relevant offerings. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure bookings and maximize revenue opportunities. Close sales deals by overcoming objections, addressing concerns, and demonstrating the value proposition of the resort. Sales Targets and Performance Metrics: Set and achieve sales targets and performance goals established by management. Track sales activities, pipeline development, and conversion rates using CRM tools and other sales tracking systems. Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences through market research and analysis. Identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and market positioning to drive sales strategies. Event Sales and Planning: Collaborate with event planners, conference organizers, and corporate clients to coordinate bookings for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other special events held at the resort. Provide support throughout the planning process to ensure successful event execution. Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional resort amenities, upgrades, and services to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue per guest. Recommend add-on services, packages, or upgrades based on client needs and preferences. Post-Sales Support: Provide post-sales support to clients, including follow-up communication, assistance with booking modifications, and resolution of any issues or concerns. Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with other resort departments, including marketing, reservations, operations, and guest services, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall resort objectives. Communicate client requirements, feedback, and expectations to internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing training, professional development opportunities, and participation in industry events and conferences.
