Job description

. Operations Management: Overseeing all aspects of resort operations, including accommodations, food and beverage services, recreational facilities, spa services, and guest activities. Establishing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Monitoring daily operations, addressing issues or concerns, and ensuring efficient use of resources to optimize profitability. 2. Guest Services and Satisfaction: Ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction by providing personalized service, resolving complaints, and addressing guest feedback and requests promptly. Implementing guest service standards and training programs to cultivate a customer-centric culture among resort staff. Monitoring guest reviews and feedback on review platforms and taking corrective actions to improve guest experiences. 3. Staff Management and Training: Recruiting, hiring, and training resort staff across various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, recreation, and maintenance. Providing leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to resort staff to foster a positive work environment and achieve service excellence. Conducting regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards. 4. Financial Management: Developing and managing resort budgets, revenue forecasts, and expense controls to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability. Analyzing financial performance metrics, such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR), to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Implementing cost-saving measures, revenue enhancement strategies, and pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation and cost efficiency. 5. Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to attract guests, increase bookings, and drive revenue growth. Collaborating with the sales and marketing team to create promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and packages to target key markets and segments. Building relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and other business partners to expand the resort's customer base and distribution channels. 6. Maintenance and Facilities Management: Overseeing maintenance, repair, and upkeep of resort facilities, including buildings, grounds, landscaping, and recreational amenities. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of resort infrastructure. Managing capital improvement projects, renovations, and refurbishments to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain competitive advantage. 7. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards to provide a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Implementing emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols to address emergencies and mitigate risks. Promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship initiatives to minimize the resort's ecological footprint and enhance its reputation as a responsible tourism destination.
