Job description

Guest Services: Ensuring exceptional guest service by overseeing front desk operations, reservations, concierge services, and guest relations. Staff Management: Hiring, training, and managing resort staff across various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and recreational activities. Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the resort, including housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping, and security, to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Financial Management: Managing the resort's budget, expenses, and revenue streams, including monitoring financial performance, forecasting, and implementing cost-control measures to optimize profitability. Marketing and Sales: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract guests, increase bookings, and maximize revenue, as well as fostering relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and online booking platforms. Food and Beverage Management: Overseeing the resort's restaurants, bars, and catering services, including menu planning, inventory management, quality control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Event Planning: Coordinating special events, weddings, conferences, and other functions hosted at the resort, including venue setup, catering, and logistics coordination. Facilities Management: Ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of resort facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, recreational facilities, and landscaping, to meet guest expectations and safety standards. Quality Assurance: Implementing quality assurance programs and standards to maintain the resort's reputation for excellence in service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Community and Stakeholder Relations: Building positive relationships with local communities, government authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders to support the resort's operations and foster goodwill. Environmental Sustainability: Implementing environmentally sustainable practices and initiatives to minimize the resort's ecological footprint and contribute to conservation efforts. Crisis Management: Developing and implementing contingency plans and emergency procedures to address unforeseen events, natural disasters, or crises that may impact resort operations or guest safety. Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, permits, and licensing requirements applicable to resort operations, including health, safety, employment, and hospitality industry regulations. Continuous Improvement: Monitoring guest feedback, conducting performance reviews, and implementing process improvements to enhance the guest experience, increase efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
