Job description

Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating resort staff across various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and recreation. Ensuring adequate staffing levels and scheduling shifts to meet operational needs. Guest Relations: Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay. Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience and build loyalty. Operational Oversight: Overseeing all aspects of resort operations, including front desk services, housekeeping, food and beverage outlets, recreational facilities, and maintenance services. Monitoring daily activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards. Financial Management: Developing and managing the resort budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profit optimization. Monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving measures to maximize profitability. Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy rates. Collaborating with the marketing team to promote the resort through advertising, promotions, and online channels. Cultivating relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners to drive business. Reservations and Booking: Managing room reservations, availability, and pricing to optimize occupancy and revenue. Implementing reservation systems and procedures to streamline the booking process and ensure accuracy. Facilities Management: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of resort facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, landscaping, pools, spas, and recreational amenities. Scheduling regular inspections, repairs, and renovations to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards. Implementing policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff. Conducting regular safety training and emergency preparedness drills. Community and Stakeholder Relations: Building positive relationships with local communities, government authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Participating in community events, initiatives, and partnerships to support the resort's reputation and social responsibility efforts. Strategic Planning: Developing long-term goals and objectives for the resort and creating strategic plans to achieve them. Identifying market trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform business decisions and drive growth and sustainability.
