Job description

Guest Services: Ensure that guests receive a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their stay. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally to enhance their experience. Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including accommodations, dining, recreational facilities, and guest services. Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of resort facilities to ensure they meet quality standards. Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise resort staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, food and beverage servers, maintenance technicians, and recreational activity coordinators. Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff members. Financial Management: Develop and manage the resort budget, including revenue projections, expense forecasts, and cost controls. Monitor financial performance metrics such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR) to optimize profitability. Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to attract guests, increase bookings, and promote resort amenities and packages. Participate in promotional activities, advertising campaigns, and industry events to drive sales and revenue growth. Guest Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, tour operators, travel agents, and corporate clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Implement guest loyalty programs, special promotions, and personalized services to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, emergency procedures, and security protocols to protect guests, staff, and resort property. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards. Environmental Sustainability: Implement eco-friendly practices and initiatives to minimize the resort's environmental impact and promote sustainability. Monitor energy consumption, waste management, water conservation, and recycling efforts to achieve environmental objectives. Event Planning and Coordination: Organize and coordinate special events, weddings, conferences, and recreational activities for resort guests. Collaborate with event planners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction. Community Relations: Engage with the local community, government agencies, and tourism organizations to support community initiatives, promote tourism, and enhance the resort's reputation as a responsible corporate citizen. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and hospitality to meet or exceed guest expectations. Conduct regular inspections, guest satisfaction surveys, and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
