Job description

Reservation Management: Overseeing the reservation process from initial inquiry to booking confirmation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling reservations. Booking Systems: Managing reservation systems and software to input, track, and manage reservations effectively, ensuring accurate availability and pricing information. Inventory Management: Monitoring room availability, event spaces, or service bookings to maximize occupancy and revenue while avoiding overbooking or double booking. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to guests and clients by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and accommodating special requests or preferences. Sales Support: Assisting the sales team by providing information on availability, rates, and amenities to help secure bookings and meet revenue targets. Group Bookings: Handling group reservations and coordinating with event planners, tour operators, or corporate clients to ensure all requirements are met and logistics are organized. Communication: Liaising with other departments such as front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage to communicate reservation details, special requests, and guest preferences. Revenue Management: Implementing revenue management strategies to optimize pricing, occupancy rates, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) based on demand and market conditions. Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on reservation trends, booking patterns, and revenue performance to identify opportunities for improvement and inform strategic decision-making. Training and Development: Providing training and guidance to reservation staff on reservation systems, customer service best practices, and sales techniques to enhance performance and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in reservation information, confirming bookings, and following up with guests to confirm satisfaction and resolve any issues. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and company policies related to reservation management, data security, and guest privacy.
