Rate and Inventory Management: Reservations Managers are responsible for setting and updating room rates, availability, and restrictions based on demand, seasonality, and pricing strategies. They monitor market trends, competitor rates, and occupancy forecasts to optimize pricing and inventory allocation. Sales and Revenue Optimization: Reservations Managers work closely with sales and revenue management teams to implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. They promote upselling opportunities, special packages, and add-on services to enhance guest spending and generate additional revenue. Guest Communication: Reservations Managers communicate with guests via phone, email, or online platforms to assist with reservation inquiries, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
