Job description

1. Managing Reservations: Receive and process reservation requests via phone, email, online platforms, or in person. Input reservation details accurately into the reservation system, including guest information, room preferences, dates, and special requests. Confirm reservations with guests and provide them with booking confirmations and relevant information. 2. Handling Inquiries: Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries from potential guests regarding room availability, rates, amenities, and hotel policies. Provide accurate information and recommendations to assist guests in making informed decisions about their reservations. 3. Maximizing Occupancy: Monitor room availability and occupancy levels to maximize revenue by optimizing room allocations and rates. Utilize upselling techniques to promote upgrades, additional services, or packages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue. 4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests throughout the reservation process, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests they may have. Handle guest complaints or issues related to reservations professionally and efficiently, working to resolve them to the guest's satisfaction. 5. Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding guest arrivals, departures, and special requests. Communicate any special requirements or preferences from guests to relevant departments to ensure they are met during their stay. 6. Sales and Marketing: Promote hotel services, facilities, and special offers to guests during the reservation process to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience. Assist with sales and marketing efforts by promoting the hotel through various channels and participating in promotional activities or events. 7. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest interactions in the reservation system or database. Prepare reports and analyses related to reservation trends, occupancy rates, and revenue performance as needed. 8. Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail when inputting reservation information to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. Double-check reservation details and confirmations to avoid misunderstandings or discrepancies with guests. 9.
