Job description

Handling Reservations: You are responsible for receiving and processing reservation requests from guests through various channels, including phone calls, emails, online booking platforms, and walk-ins. You accurately record reservation details, including dates, room types, special requests, and guest preferences. Providing Information: You provide information to guests about room availability, rates, amenities, and policies. You answer inquiries regarding accommodation options, special packages, promotions, and local attractions, assisting guests in making informed decisions about their bookings. Managing Booking Systems: You use reservation management software or property management systems (PMS) to input, update, and manage reservation data. You ensure that all bookings are accurately recorded in the system and that inventory is managed efficiently to optimize occupancy levels. Confirming Reservations: You confirm reservation details with guests, including dates, room types, rates, and any special requests or preferences. You provide guests with confirmation numbers and relevant information about their bookings, such as check-in and check-out times and cancellation policies. Modifying and Cancelling Reservations: You handle requests to modify or cancel existing reservations according to established policies and procedures. You process changes to reservation dates, room types, or guest details and communicate any applicable fees or penalties to guests. Upselling and Cross-Selling: You promote additional services or upgrades to guests, such as room upgrades, dining reservations, spa treatments, or recreational activities. You identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue. Handling Guest Requests and Concerns: You address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns related to reservations promptly and professionally. You provide assistance and solutions to resolve issues or complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. Coordinating with Other Departments: You collaborate with other departments, such as front office, housekeeping, and sales, to coordinate guest arrivals, room assignments, special requests, and group bookings. You communicate reservation details and guest preferences to relevant staff members to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintaining Reservation Records: You maintain accurate and up-to-date records of reservations, cancellations, modifications, and guest communications. You keep detailed logs and documentation of reservation activities for reference and reporting purposes. Reporting and Analysis: You generate reports and analyze reservation data to track booking trends, occupancy rates, revenue performance, and guest demographics. You provide insights and recommendations to management for improving reservation processes, optimizing revenue, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
