Job description

Handling Reservations: Managing incoming reservation requests through various channels, including phone calls, emails, online booking platforms, and walk-in inquiries. Providing Information: Assisting guests by providing information about room availability, rates, amenities, and special packages or promotions. Processing Bookings: Taking reservations accurately and efficiently, entering guest information into the reservation system, and confirming bookings with guests. Managing Room Inventory: Monitoring room availability and ensuring that reservations are balanced with room inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue. Handling Special Requests: Addressing special requests or preferences from guests, such as room preferences, dietary restrictions, or requests for additional services or amenities. Coordinating with Other Departments: Collaborating with other departments, such as housekeeping, front desk, and sales, to ensure smooth guest arrivals, departures, and stay experiences. Upselling and Cross-Selling: Promoting additional services, upgrades, or amenities to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities. Managing Cancellations and Modifications: Handling reservation cancellations, modifications, and re-bookings according to the hotel's policies and procedures. Maintaining Guest Records: Keeping accurate and organized records of guest reservations, including guest profiles, preferences, and special requests, in the reservation system. Providing Customer Service: Offering excellent customer service to guests by addressing their inquiries, concerns, or issues related to reservations promptly and professionally. Revenue Management: Assisting in revenue management efforts by monitoring booking trends, analyzing demand patterns, and adjusting pricing and inventory strategies as needed to optimize revenue. Reporting and Analysis: Generating reservation reports, analyzing booking data, and providing insights to management on reservation trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
