Guest Relations: Welcoming guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor. Providing information about the resort, its facilities, services, and local attractions. Assisting guests with inquiries, reservations, and special requests. Check-in and Check-out: Managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently. Collecting necessary guest information, processing payments, and issuing room keys or cards. Ensuring accuracy in billing and resolving any discrepancies. Reservations Management: Handling reservation inquiries, bookings, cancellations, and modifications. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and special packages. Confirming reservations and preparing arrival lists for the day. Telephone and Email Handling: Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally. Transferring calls to appropriate departments or taking messages accurately. Responding to email inquiries and correspondence in a timely manner. Information and Assistance: Providing directions and assistance to guests regarding dining options, recreational activities, and local attractions. Offering recommendations and making reservations for activities or services outside the resort. Administrative Support: Performing various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents. Maintaining guest records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. Problem Resolution: Handling guest complaints or concerns effectively and escalating issues to management when necessary. Resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a positive experience. Safety and Security: Monitoring the lobby area and ensuring security protocols are followed. Issuing visitor passes and monitoring access to restricted areas. Responding to emergency situations calmly and following resort safety procedures. Cash Handling: Processing payments for room charges, deposits, and incidentals accurately. Reconciling cash and credit card transactions at the end of each shift. Following cash handling procedures and maintaining cash float security. Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage. Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve operational issues.
