Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Warmly welcoming guests and visitors as they arrive at the resort. Providing information about resort amenities, services, and activities. Directing guests to the appropriate areas or departments within the resort. 2. Answering Phone Calls and Emails: Answering incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Providing assistance, answering inquiries, and addressing guest concerns or requests. Taking messages and forwarding calls to the relevant staff members or departments. 3. Handling Check-ins and Check-outs: Assisting guests with the check-in process, verifying reservations, and processing payments. Issuing room keys, providing directions to guest rooms, and explaining resort policies and procedures. Facilitating smooth and efficient check-outs, collecting payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies. 4. Reservations and Booking Management: Taking room reservations over the phone, email, or in person. Inputting reservation details into the resort's reservation system accurately. Managing room inventory, updating availability, and coordinating with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure timely room turnovers. 5. Concierge Services: Providing concierge services such as arranging transportation, booking restaurant reservations, and organizing recreational activities for guests. Offering recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and entertainment venues. Assisting guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their stay experience. 6. Administrative Support: Performing general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing documents. Maintaining guest records, reservation logs, and other administrative records accurately. Assisting other departments with administrative tasks or special projects as needed. 7. Handling Emergencies and Security: Responding to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security incidents. Following established procedures for emergency response, evacuation, and guest safety. Notifying appropriate personnel or authorities as necessary and providing assistance to guests during emergencies. 8. Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Ensuring that informational materials, brochures, and promotional materials are stocked and displayed neatly. Monitoring and replenishing supplies such as pens, forms, and informational materials as needed. As a receptionist, your role is essential in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests,
