Job description

Greeting Guests: Welcoming guests as they arrive at the resort, providing a warm and friendly first impression, and directing them to the appropriate areas or services. Check-in and Check-out: Assisting guests with the check-in and check-out process, verifying their reservations, collecting payment information, and issuing room keys or access cards. Reservations Management: Handling guest inquiries and reservations via phone, email, or in person, and ensuring accurate booking information is recorded in the system. Concierge Services: Providing information and assistance to guests regarding resort amenities, local attractions, dining options, transportation, and other services to enhance their stay. Communication: Answering phone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate departments or staff members, taking messages, and responding to guest inquiries or requests in a timely and professional manner. Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative duties, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and faxing, to support the efficient operation of the front desk. Cash Handling: Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and reconciling cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy and accountability. Guest Relations: Building rapport with guests, anticipating their needs, and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction. Security: Monitoring guest access to the resort premises, issuing visitor passes or access cards as needed, and following security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Multitasking: Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, such as assisting guests while answering phone calls or processing reservations, to ensure efficient front desk operations.
