Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist them with the check-in process, and provide them with room keys and relevant information about the resort's amenities and services. Also, facilitate the check-out process, collect payments, and handle any requests or inquiries guests may have before they depart. Reservations Management: Handle guest reservations, whether made in advance or on the spot. Ensure accuracy in recording guest information, room preferences, and special requests. Use reservation management software to update room availability, assign rooms, and process payments. Guest Services: Provide information and assistance to guests regarding resort facilities, local attractions, dining options, transportation services, and other inquiries. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management as needed to resolve issues. Telephone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails from guests, prospective guests, and other inquiries. Provide information, take messages, and redirect calls to the appropriate department or staff member as necessary. Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, such as filing paperwork, organizing documents, and maintaining guest records. Handle mail, packages, and deliveries for guests and staff, as well as any other clerical tasks assigned by management. Cash Handling: Process payments for room reservations, incidental charges, and other transactions using cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment. Ensure accuracy in handling cash and maintaining cash drawer balances, following resort policies and procedures. Security and Safety: Monitor the lobby area and ensure the security and safety of guests and staff. Verify guest identities, monitor surveillance cameras, and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to management or security personnel. Hospitality Services: Provide additional services to enhance the guest experience, such as arranging restaurant reservations, booking spa appointments, or coordinating recreational activities. Anticipate guest needs and offer personalized recommendations to enhance their stay. Multitasking and Time Management: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, ensuring that guest needs are addressed promptly and efficiently. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent service to guests. Communicate guest requests or special instructions effectively to relevant staff members to ensure guest satisfaction.
