Guest Relations: Greeting guests warmly upon arrival, checking them in, and providing them with information about the resort's facilities, services, and amenities. This includes answering questions about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. Reservations Management: Handling guest reservations, including booking rooms, processing payments, and managing room assignments. This involves using reservation management software to maintain accurate records and ensure availability. Phone and Email Correspondence: Answering phone calls and responding to emails from guests, prospective guests, and other inquiries. This may involve taking messages, providing information, and forwarding calls to the appropriate department or staff member. Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative duties, such as filing paperwork, organizing documents, and maintaining guest records. This may also include handling mail, packages, and deliveries for guests and staff. Check-Out Process: Assisting guests with the check-out process, including reviewing their bill, processing payments, and arranging transportation or luggage assistance as needed. Problem Resolution: Addressing guest concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, and escalating issues to management if necessary. This involves actively listening to guests' feedback and taking appropriate action to resolve any issues. Security and Safety: Monitoring the lobby area and ensuring the security and safety of guests and staff. This may involve verifying guest identities, monitoring surveillance cameras, and reporting any suspicious activity or safety hazards. Hospitality Services: Providing additional services to enhance the guest experience, such as arranging restaurant reservations, booking spa appointments, or coordinating recreational activities. Cash Handling: Processing payments for room reservations, incidental charges, and other transactions using cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment. This includes reconciling cash drawers and maintaining accurate financial records. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent service to guests. This may involve communicating guest requests or special instructions and coordinating room turnovers.
