Job description

Greeting and Welcoming: Welcoming visitors, students, and faculty to the nursing faculty office or department in a friendly and professional manner. Answering Phones: Managing incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate personnel, taking messages, and providing information as needed. Scheduling: Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events for faculty members, students, and staff. Handling Mail and Deliveries: Sorting and distributing incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to the appropriate recipients. Maintaining Records: Assisting with the maintenance of student and faculty records, including updating contact information, filing documents, and ensuring confidentiality. Assisting Visitors: Providing information and directions to visitors, assisting with inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate offices or resources. Supporting Administrative Tasks: Assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry to support the efficient operation of the nursing faculty office. Managing Supplies: Monitoring and ordering office supplies, ensuring that supplies are stocked and available as needed. Providing Administrative Support: Assisting faculty members and administrators with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating travel arrangements. Maintaining Reception Area: Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and presentable, including arranging seating, magazines, and other materials for visitors. Assisting with Student Services: Providing support to students regarding inquiries about programs, admissions, registration, and other student services. Emergency Response: Following established procedures for emergency situations, including providing assistance and guidance to individuals during emergencies.
