Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the resort, provide them with information about resort amenities, services, and facilities, and assist with check-in procedures. Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Reservation Management: Handle guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Update reservation systems with guest information, preferences, and special requests. Coordinate room assignments and ensure rooms are ready for guest occupancy. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously. Anticipate guests' needs and go above and beyond to exceed their expectations during their stay. Telephone and Email Communication: Manage incoming calls and emails professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel. Provide information about room availability, rates, resort services, and local attractions to callers and email correspondents. Front Desk Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, including the reception counter, lobby, and waiting area. Keep brochures, maps, and other informational materials well-stocked and neatly displayed for guests' convenience. Payment Processing: Handle guest payments for room charges, deposits, incidental expenses, and other transactions accurately and securely. Process cash, credit card, debit card, and electronic payments following resort policies and procedures. Guest Relations: Build rapport with guests by listening attentively to their needs, offering personalized recommendations, and providing assistance with restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and leisure activities. Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolution to ensure guest satisfaction. Safety and Security: Monitor the lobby area for any suspicious activity or security concerns and report them to appropriate personnel. Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as sorting mail, managing faxes, photocopying documents, and maintaining guest records. Provide administrative support to other departments as needed, including assisting with data entry, filing, and correspondence. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other resort staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and concierge services, to ensure seamless guest experiences and effective communication across departments. Multitasking and Time Management: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as checking in guests, answering phone calls, and addressing guest inquiries, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet guest needs and operational requirements. Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for professional development and training to enhance job knowledge and skills. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving guest services, operational efficiency, and front desk procedures to management.
