Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with the check-in process, and provide information about resort amenities, services, and policies. Handle guest check-out procedures efficiently, process payments, and ensure accurate billing. Reservation Management: Manage room reservations, including processing bookings, modifying reservations, and handling cancellations. Ensure accuracy of reservation details and communicate any special requests or preferences to relevant departments. Guest Services: Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, transportation services, and recreational activities to enhance guests' experience. Telephone and Email Correspondence: Answer incoming calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate departments or staff members. Respond to email inquiries and provide assistance or information as needed. Front Desk Operations: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby, reception desk, and guest service areas. Keep informational materials, brochures, and maps readily available for guests. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and faxing. Prepare key cards, guest registration forms, and other necessary documents for guest check-in. Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately and securely. Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and reconcile transactions with daily reports. Security and Safety: Monitor the lobby area for suspicious activity and report any security concerns to appropriate personnel. Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures in the event of fire, medical emergencies, or other incidents. VIP and Group Coordination: Welcome VIP guests and coordinate special arrangements or amenities as requested. Assist with group check-ins, room assignments, and event logistics for conferences, weddings, or other group bookings. Multitasking and Time Management: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and manage time efficiently to ensure smooth operations at the front desk. Training and Development: Stay updated on resort policies, procedures, and services through ongoing training sessions and staff meetings. Continuously improve customer service skills and knowledge of resort offerings. Problem Resolution: Resolve guest complaints or issues in a professional and proactive manner, escalating unresolved matters to management as needed. Take ownership of guest concerns and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
