Answering Phone Calls: Receptionists handle incoming phone calls, answering inquiries, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person or department. They must be courteous, efficient, and adept at managing multiple phone lines. Managing Email and Correspondence: Receptionists may be responsible for managing email correspondence, responding to inquiries, and forwarding messages to relevant staff members. They ensure that emails are addressed promptly and professionally. Scheduling Appointments: Receptionists schedule appointments and meetings for staff members, clients, or visitors, using scheduling software or calendars to coordinate availability. They may also send appointment reminders and confirmations as needed. Maintaining Visitor Logs: Receptionists maintain accurate records of visitors, including their names, contact information, and the purpose of their visit.
