Establishing high academic standards and expectations for student achievement. Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, and supervising teaching and administrative staff. Providing professional development opportunities, mentoring, and support to enhance staff performance and effectiveness. Curriculum Development: Overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational best practices. Monitoring curriculum delivery and assessment to ensure quality and relevance. Instructional Leadership: Observing classroom instruction, providing feedback, and supporting teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies. Promoting innovation and excellence in teaching and learning. Student Discipline and Behavior Management: Establishing and enforcing school policies and procedures related to student behavior, discipline, and safety. Addressing disciplinary issues and promoting a positive school climate conducive to learning. Parent and Community Engagement: Building strong partnerships with parents, families, and community stakeholders to support student success and school improvement efforts. Communicating regularly with stakeholders and soliciting input on school initiatives. Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing and managing the school budget, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring financial stability. Overseeing financial planning, accounting, and reporting processes. Facilities Management: Maintaining a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment by overseeing facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Student Support Services: Overseeing the provision of support services such as counseling, special education, and extracurricular activities to meet the diverse needs of students. School Improvement Planning: Leading the development and implementation of school improvement plans based on data analysis, student performance outcomes, and stakeholder input.
