Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals who visit the pharmacy. This involves greeting customers, answering inquiries about products, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have. Product Promotion: Promoting pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter medications, and medical supplies to customers. This may involve highlighting product features, benefits, and usage instructions to encourage sales. Product Knowledge: Maintaining a thorough understanding of the products sold in the pharmacy, including their indications, contraindications, dosage forms, and potential side effects. This enables you to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers. Sales Transactions: Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the pharmacy's point-of-sale (POS) system. This includes scanning products, accepting payments, and issuing receipts to customers. Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory management tasks such as restocking shelves, monitoring product expiry dates, and conducting inventory counts to ensure adequate stock levels. Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identifying opportunities to cross-sell related products or up-sell higher-margin items to customers. This involves understanding customer needs and preferences and making appropriate product recommendations. Health Education: Providing basic health education and wellness advice to customers. This may include discussing common health conditions, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications to support overall health and well-being. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies related to product sales, including medication dispensing regulations, patient privacy laws, and controlled substance handling procedures. Promotional Events: Assisting with promotional events, such as product demonstrations, health screenings, or informational sessions held in the pharmacy or community. This helps to raise awareness of products and attract new customers. Customer Follow-Up: Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases and address any post-sale inquiries or concerns they may have.
