Job description

Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise petrol station staff, including petrol filling attendants, cashiers, and maintenance personnel. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure a productive and cohesive team environment. Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service by greeting customers, addressing inquiries or concerns, and resolving issues promptly and courteously. Foster a customer-centric culture among staff and prioritize customer satisfaction and retention. Fuel Operations: Oversee fueling operations, including monitoring fuel inventory levels, ordering fuel supplies, and coordinating fuel deliveries. Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of fuel in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental hazards associated with fuel handling and storage. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality of the petrol station facilities, including fuel pumps, islands, canopies, convenience stores, restrooms, and parking areas. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and cleaning activities as needed to uphold the appearance and safety of the premises. Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition and performance of fuel dispensing equipment, safety systems, and facility infrastructure. Arrange for routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reliability. Inventory Management: Manage fuel inventory levels, track fuel sales, and reconcile fuel inventory counts to minimize fuel losses and optimize inventory turnover. Implement inventory control measures, such as inventory tracking systems and stock rotation procedures, to prevent shortages or overages. Financial Management: Monitor revenue, expenses, and profit margins to achieve financial targets and profitability goals. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and operational improvements. Security Surveillance: Implement security measures and surveillance systems to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the petrol station premises. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access controls to ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, and assets. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry standards, and best practices relevant to petrol station operations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing fuel sales, environmental protection, and occupational safety. Community Relations: Engage with the local community, businesses, and stakeholders to build positive relationships and support community initiatives. Participate in community events, sponsorships, or outreach programs to enhance the petrol station's reputation and goodwill. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address fuel spills, fires, accidents, and other emergencies. Train staff on emergency protocols, evacuation procedures, and first aid techniques to ensure preparedness and effective response in crisis situations.
