Job description

Operational Management: Supervise and coordinate daily activities at the petrol station, including fuel dispensing, vehicle servicing (if applicable), and customer service. Ensure smooth operation of fuel pumps, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness of the station premises. Monitor fuel inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely fuel deliveries. Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a positive customer experience. Train and supervise staff in customer service protocols and best practices. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and schedule petrol pump attendants and other staff members. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff to ensure productivity and adherence to operational standards. Manage payroll and personnel issues, including disciplinary actions if necessary. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and guidelines for handling fuel, including fire safety measures, spill containment, and environmental compliance. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel dispensing, health, and safety standards. Financial Management: Monitor daily sales transactions, reconcile cash registers, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Manage petty cash, inventory, and expenses to optimize profitability and minimize losses. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for management review. Inventory Management: Monitor fuel inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate with suppliers for fuel orders and deliveries to maintain adequate stock levels. Implement inventory control measures to prevent theft and minimize inventory shrinkage. Operational Planning and Improvement: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and customer service. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures. Skills and Qualifications: Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts.
