Job description

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the petrol station, including fuel dispensing, convenience store sales, and car wash services if applicable. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule petrol pump attendants and other staff members. Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training and support to ensure a high level of customer service and operational efficiency. Customer Service: Maintain a customer-focused approach and ensure that all customers are served promptly and courteously. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and efficient manner. Fuel Management: Monitor fuel inventory levels, place orders with suppliers as needed, and reconcile fuel deliveries with sales records. Ensure proper storage and handling of fuel, including compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Cash Management: Manage cash handling procedures, including monitoring cash registers, reconciling daily sales, and depositing cash in the bank. Implement security measures to prevent theft, fraud, and unauthorized access to cash and valuables. Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, such as promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion. Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the petrol station facilities, including fuel pumps, convenience store, restrooms, and parking lot, are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. Arrange for repairs, maintenance, and servicing of equipment and facilities as needed. Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety policies and procedures to protect employees, customers, and the environment. Conduct regular safety inspections, address hazards, and provide training on safety protocols and emergency procedures. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping, inventory management, and report generation. Maintain accurate records of fuel sales, transactions, and inventory levels for accounting and reporting purposes. Community Relations: Build positive relationships with the local community, businesses, and authorities. Participate in community events, sponsorships, and initiatives to enhance the petrol station's reputation and visibility.
