Job description

Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner as they drive into the petrol station. Provide assistance and guidance to customers regarding fueling options, payment methods, and other services offered at the station. Fueling Vehicles: Operate fuel pumps and dispensers to fill vehicles with the requested type and quantity of fuel, such as gasoline, diesel, or alternative fuels. Monitor fueling process to ensure accuracy and safety, and avoid spills or overfills. Fuel Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of the fuel being dispensed by verifying that it meets regulatory standards and specifications. Monitor fuel storage tanks, pumps, and hoses for leaks, contamination, or malfunction, and report any issues to management. Payment Processing: Accept payments from customers for fuel purchases, using cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payment apps, or other accepted payment methods. Process transactions accurately, promptly, and securely, and issue receipts as needed. Stock Replenishment: Monitor fuel inventory levels and restock fuel pumps and dispensers as needed to ensure continuous availability of fuel for customers. Retrieve fuel delivery tickets, record fuel sales, and reconcile fuel inventory counts to maintain accurate records. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental hazards associated with fuel handling and storage. Follow proper procedures for emergency shutdowns, spill containment, and fire response. Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance tasks and cleanliness duties to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the petrol station facilities and equipment. Clean fuel pumps, islands, canopies, and restrooms, and remove litter and debris from the premises. Customer Assistance: Assist customers with additional services, such as checking tire pressure, adding windshield washer fluid, or providing directions or recommendations. Address customer inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Security Surveillance: Monitor the petrol station premises and parking lot for suspicious activity, theft, or safety hazards. Report any security concerns or incidents to management or local authorities as necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow petrol filling attendants, cashier staff, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer service delivery. Communicate effectively, share information, and provide mutual support to achieve common goals and objectives. Training and Development: Participate in training programs and meetings to enhance knowledge, skills, and competency in petrol filling operations, safety procedures, and customer service best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements relevant to the role.
