Job description

Reception and Front Desk Duties: Greeting visitors, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing individuals to the appropriate faculty or department. Administrative Support: Assisting faculty members and administrators with various administrative tasks, such as typing correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and maintaining calendars. Record Keeping and Filing: Maintaining electronic and physical records, filing documents, organizing files, and ensuring that information is stored securely and accessible when needed. Data Entry and Management: Entering data into databases, spreadsheets, or other systems, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information. Email and Correspondence: Managing email correspondence, drafting emails, responding to inquiries, and forwarding messages to the appropriate recipients. Document Preparation: Formatting documents, reports, presentations, and other materials, and ensuring that they adhere to institutional standards and guidelines. Supply Management: Ordering office supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that necessary supplies are available for faculty and staff members. Facilities Coordination: Coordinating office and classroom space, scheduling room reservations, and ensuring that facilities are set up and equipped for meetings, events, and classes. Student Support: Assisting students with inquiries about programs, admissions, registration, and other administrative matters, and directing them to the appropriate resources or personnel for assistance. Financial Transactions: Processing financial transactions, such as payments, reimbursements, and petty cash disbursements, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Event Planning: Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, such as conferences, workshops, orientations, and graduation ceremonies. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with colleagues, faculty, students, and external stakeholders to facilitate communication, coordinate activities, and support the overall functioning of the nursing faculty.
