We are seeking an experienced North Indian Cook to join our team in Thrissur. The ideal candidate should be skilled in preparing authentic North Indian cuisine while adhering to hygiene and quality standards. The North Indian Cook will be responsible for planning menus, sourcing ingredients, and executing dishes to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian dishes such as curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and snacks. Develop and plan menus, considering factors such as seasonal availability of ingredients and customer preferences. Source high-quality ingredients from reliable suppliers while adhering to budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times. Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain inventory. Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation. Collaborate with management to develop promotional offers and special menus to attract customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety. Qualifications: Proven experience as a North Indian Cook, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. In-depth knowledge of North Indian cuisine and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Certification in food handling and safety is preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a North Indian Cook.
