Menu Planning: Designing menus that feature a variety of North Indian dishes, including appetizers, main courses, breads (such as naan and paratha), rice dishes (like biryanis and pulao), and desserts. Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, grinding spices, and preparing gravies, sauces, and masalas. Cooking Techniques: Mastering traditional cooking methods such as tempering (tadka), simmering (dum), roasting (bhuna), and using techniques specific to tandoori cooking (such as marinating and skewer-grilling). Recipe Execution: Following authentic recipes for popular North Indian dishes such as butter chicken (murgh makhani), paneer tikka, dal makhani, kebabs, and various types of curries (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian). Flavor Balance: Ensuring the correct balance of spices, herbs, and seasonings to achieve authentic flavors and enhance the taste of dishes. Presentation: Paying attention to food presentation and garnishing to create visually appealing dishes that meet culinary standards. Kitchen Management: Organizing and managing kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Following food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure safe handling and preparation of food.
