Menu Development: Creating menus that feature a variety of North Indian dishes, including popular items such as tandoori meats (like chicken tikka and seekh kebabs), breads (like naan and paratha), curries (like butter chicken, rogan josh, and palak paneer), biryanis, and various types of dal. Expertise in Spices and Ingredients: A thorough understanding of North Indian spices (like garam masala, cumin, coriander, and black cardamom) and ingredients (like yogurt, tomatoes, cream, and cottage cheese) that contribute to the rich and aromatic flavors of the cuisine. Tandoor Cooking: Proficiency in tandoor cooking techniques for preparing meats, breads, and kebabs, which are integral to North Indian cuisine. Gravy Preparation: Skill in preparing rich and flavorful gravies (curries) using a combination of spices, tomatoes, cream, and other ingredients, often finished with garnishes like fresh coriander (cilantro) or kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves). Presentation and Garnishing: Ensuring that dishes are presented attractively, often garnished with fresh herbs, sliced onions, or lemon wedges, enhancing their visual appeal.
