Menu Planning and Development: Designing menus that feature a variety of traditional North Indian dishes such as curries (e.g., butter chicken, paneer tikka masala), tandoori items (e.g., naan, kebabs), biryanis, and regional specialties (e.g., Rajasthani, Punjabi). Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients, marinating meats, and cooking North Indian dishes according to authentic recipes and culinary traditions. Using spices and herbs characteristic of North Indian cuisine. Cooking Techniques: Mastering the specific cooking techniques used in North Indian cuisine, including tandoor cooking, tempering (tadka), and gravy preparation (using techniques like bhuna, kadhai, and dum). Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and consistency of dishes by using fresh ingredients, maintaining proper cooking techniques, and adhering to food safety standards. Recipe Development: Experimenting with new recipes or variations of traditional North Indian dishes while preserving authenticity and flavor profiles. Kitchen Management: Overseeing kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Team Coordination: Working closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation, timing, and service to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of dishes.
