Neurologists use these assessments to diagnose various neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and peripheral neuropathy. Medical Management and Treatment: Developing individualized treatment plans and interventions to manage and treat patients' neurological conditions effectively. Neurologists prescribe medications, such as antiepileptic drugs, muscle relaxants, dopamine agonists, and immunosuppressants, to control symptoms, reduce disease progression, and improve quality of life for patients with neurological disorders.
