Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and developing curriculum, course materials, and training programs for multimedia design and production, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in multimedia technology. Instruction and Delivery: Delivering engaging and interactive lectures, workshops, and training sessions on multimedia topics, including graphic design, web design, animation, video production, audio production, and interactive media, using a variety of instructional methods, techniques, and tools to accommodate diverse learning styles and levels of expertise. Multimedia Software Expertise: Demonstrating expertise in multimedia software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Autodesk Maya, Blender, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, and others, and staying updated with the latest developments, techniques, and advancements in multimedia design and production. Hands-on Training: Providing hands-on training and practical exercises using multimedia software, digital tools, and production equipment to reinforce theoretical concepts, develop technical skills, and create multimedia projects and portfolios. Creative Design and Production: Teaching creative design principles, techniques, and processes for creating multimedia content, including graphic design, digital illustration, typography, layout design, animation techniques, video editing, sound design, and interactive media development. Project-Based Learning: Facilitating project-based learning experiences, design sprints, and collaborative projects to challenge students, foster creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and encourage innovation in multimedia design and production. Portfolio Development: Assisting students in developing and showcasing their multimedia portfolios, including digital portfolios, demo reels, and project showcases, to demonstrate their skills, creativity, and expertise to potential employers or clients. Assessment and Evaluation: Designing and administering assessments, critiques, and peer reviews to evaluate students' understanding, proficiency, and competency in multimedia design and production concepts, techniques, and projects. Feedback and Support: Providing constructive feedback, guidance, and support to students to help them improve their creative and technical skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their multimedia design and production goals, offering one-on-one mentoring and additional resources as needed. Industry Engagement: Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals, employers, and multimedia organizations to stay informed about industry trends, job opportunities, and skill requirements in multimedia design and production roles. Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders through verbal communication, presentations, visual demonstrations, and written materials, and adapting communication style and content to diverse audiences. Passion for Creativity and Technology: Demonstrating a passion for creativity, innovation, and technology, and inspiring students to explore, experiment, and push the boundaries of multimedia design and production, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
