Job description

Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identifying issues with mobile devices by conducting diagnostic tests, examining components, and analyzing symptoms reported by customers. Repair and Maintenance: Performing repairs on hardware components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and other internal parts. This includes soldering, replacing parts, and ensuring proper assembly. Software Updates and Troubleshooting: Updating software, operating systems, and applications on mobile devices. Troubleshooting software issues, including freezing, crashing, or connectivity problems. Data Transfer and Backup: Assisting customers with transferring data (contacts, photos, files) between devices and ensuring data backup before repairs or updates. Customer Service: Interacting with customers to understand device issues, provide estimates for repairs, and communicate repair progress or completion timelines effectively. Quality Assurance: Conducting quality checks on repaired devices to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to manufacturer standards or service level agreements (SLAs). Parts Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of spare parts, ordering replacements as needed, and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment for repairs. Documentation and Reporting: Documenting repair processes, logging repairs in a database or CRM system, and generating reports on repair statistics, turnaround times, and customer feedback. Technical Knowledge and Training: Staying updated on new mobile technologies, devices, and repair techniques. Continuously improving technical skills through training and certifications. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines when handling electronic components, chemicals, and tools. Following environmental regulations for proper disposal of electronic waste. Problem-Solving Skills: Using logical reasoning and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions efficiently. Customer Education: Educating customers on device maintenance, best practices for usage, and preventive measures to minimize future repairs.
