Job description

Curriculum Development: Plan and develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and teaching strategies aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives in mathematics education. Classroom Management: Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and participation. Establish and maintain classroom rules, routines, and procedures to promote respect, collaboration, and active learning. Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Use a variety of teaching methods, techniques, and resources, including demonstrations, examples, problem-solving activities, manipulatives, and technology tools. Mathematical Concepts and Skills: Teach and reinforce concepts, principles, and skills in various areas of mathematics, such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and probability. Provide clear explanations, examples, and applications to help students understand and apply mathematical concepts effectively. Problem-Solving Strategies: Foster problem-solving skills through the exploration of real-world problems, puzzles, and challenges. Teach students to analyze problems, develop strategies, make conjectures, and justify solutions using mathematical reasoning and logic. Mathematical Reasoning and Proof: Develop students' ability to reason mathematically and construct mathematical proofs. Teach students to identify patterns, formulate conjectures, and provide mathematical arguments and justifications to support their reasoning. Mathematical Literacy: Promote mathematical literacy by helping students develop the ability to interpret mathematical information, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
